- Requires camera and lens end adapters
- The AFLEX adapter converts the camera end to one of the Novoflex camera body adapters (e.g. NIKA, LETA, NEXA etc).
- The FLEXLEI adapter converts the lens end to take a lens adapter (LEICAN, LEINIK etc). Please Note: Canon EF and mirrorless format lenses can not be manually stopped down, they can only be used reversed with a RETRO adapter).
- The BAL-F base has an Arca profile and can be attached to any suitable quick release. The safety pin of Novoflex units will engage with cut-outs in the base. It also has 1/4" and 3/8" sockets.
- To enable focusing without changing the magnification, the bellows should be attached to a focusing rack. The Novoflex CASTEL MINI II, CASTEL Q and CASTEL XQ are all ideal for this purpose.
Overview
The BAL-F is the new compact Novoflex bellows which can be used in many different configurations, including with full electronic transmission of information between camera and lens with an optional RETRO reverse adapter. If this is not required the BAL-F can be adapted to virtually all current cameras and lenses for manual operation. You can use one make of lens with a different body.
Kits including the RETRO adapters are available for Canon EOS, Canon EOS-R, Fujifilm X, L-Mount, MFT, Nikon Z and Sony E.
