- Virtually any type of lens can be adapted for use with the CASTBAL-PRO. For best results Novoflex recommend the Schneider APO-Digitar 90mm which has been selected for use with bellows photography.
- Higher magnifications can be achieved by attaching a PRO50 BALPRO 50mm Extension Tube.
Overview
A bellows focusing attachment for the CASTEL-MICRO focusing rack. The CASTBAL-PRO can be used with any of the adapters for the BALPRO bellows, and is ideal for very high quality product photography where focus stacking is required. Because the lens position does not change in relation to the subject, perspective and reflections are not affected. Also, in comparison to the traditional Scheimpflug method where the focus plane is shifted, maximum sharpness can be achieved over the entire subject area.
