- The CASTEL-Q is a precision focusing rack with an ARCA size dovetail clamping mount. The focusing rack is easily directly mounted to a standard tripod head with an ARCA-style clamp
- Mount to any tripod with both Q+BASE or Q-Mount quick releases.The focusing rack can also be mounted directly to any tripod with either 1/4”-20 or 3/8”-16 threads
- Using a second CASTEL-Q underneath, creates a cross focusing rail for precise camera movement in the X and Y axis

Overview
The CASTEL-Q focusing rack is suitable for all mirrorless and DSLR and the majority of medium format cameras, and has an Arca-pattern quick release clamp to accept Novoflex-Q or most other other Arca-type camera plates. Focusing racks are useful in macro photography because at very close distances, focusing with the lens becomes difficult or impossible. Moving the complete camera/lens assembly backwards and forwards is best, and a rack enables precise focus to be achieved easily and quickly. The Castel-Q is formed from a solid aluminium extrusion, and uses rack-and-pinion gearing to give precise control, free from any backlash (camera plate not supplied).
