The TrioBalance is a modular camera tripod which includes the MagicBalance leveller incorporated in the centre casting. It's available in 3-, 4- and 5-section versions. Each version is supplied with interchangeable full height and short legs and a carrying bag. The legs screw into the TrioBalance base, so it can be used as a conventional tripod or converted to a robust and strong table-top support using the included short legs. The compact size of the central base also enables the legs to fold parallel and so the tripod has minimal closed bulk. Each leg screws firmly in place so there is no play between the top of the leg and the base, but when detached can be used as a monopod (supplied accessory QPMONO screws on the top to create a flat platform with a ¼” screw to mount a small ball head). A press button allows each leg to be set at any one of four angles: 20°, 40°, 60° and also 90° to enable ground level photography. If you plan on a walking trip with a companion, weight and space can be saved by using two of the QLEG WALK III trekking poles in place of two standard legs. Use the poles for walking, remove the grips and just attach to the TrioPod base along with the standard leg, which with the base can be easily stowed in or on a rucksack.
