Overview
The TrioPod C2253 is possibly the most versatile travel tripod available, with short 5-section legs providing a very compact closed length and light weight. The legs screw into the TrioPod base, so it can be used as a conventional tripod or converted to a robust and strong table-top support using the included MINI legs. The compact size of the central base also enables the legs to fold parallel to give the tripod minimal closed bulk. Each leg screws firmly in place so there is no play between the top of the leg and the base, and can be set at 4 different angles. A carrying bag is also included.
If your planning a walking trip, weight and space can be saved by using two of the QLEG WALK III trekking poles in place of two standard legs. Use the poles for walking, remove the grips and just attach to the TrioPod base along with the standard leg, which with the base can be easily stowed in or on a rucksack.
